Its a combination of many different sources, spanning the full timeline of the written word. One day, you may get a quote from an ancient greek philospher (450 B.C.) and the next day it could be a piece of text from a book released a week ago. Our services are certainly not a full replacement for a trained therapist, but even the worlds best therapist can't help you if you are not ready to accept change. Some days our messages may mean nothing to you, some days they may really make you think. But by getting that daily nudge, you have a much better chance of enacting real lasting change. Think of us as like taking a daily vitamin. One may not have a huge effect, but it builds over time to improve your overall health.
Never! For as long as you are on the list, you will get a different message and analysis every day. Even if you take a break for a while, you will get new prompts when signing back up.
No, we are not licensed or certified therapists. We are collectors and purveyors of centuries of life wisdom. However, some of our quotes ARE from trained and licensed therapists. We believe that good advice is good advice, and can (and should) come from a variety of sources.
Once signed up, you can choose to have your messages delivered by SMS text message, or by email. We are also working on adding WhatsApp as an option soon.
Yes, both of our plans offer a refund period. Monthly sign ups can get a refund within 14 days, and yearly sign ups can get a refund within 30 days.
Taking very small steps is better than doing nothing at all. Adding 5¢ Therapy to your daily routine is an affordable way to increase your mental strengh in a (hopufully) fun an engaging way.
If however, you are suffering from real mental stress, you should also talk to a trained therapist. Getting to see one however can sometimes be expensive or have long wait times to be seen.
